Since it opened its doors in 1999, Stowe has prided itself on encouraging all who visit to become partners in the process of appreciating and preserving the natural beauty of our region. Stowe is proud to be a nonprofit organization that is funded and maintained by members of the community for the benefit of the community. Less than half of our budget is funded by membership dues, which is why your annual giving is such a necessary part in helping to develop conserved land by covering the rest of our operating costs. Your gifts allow our staff and dedicated volunteers to maintain our stunning horticultural displays, hold classes that inspire a love of nature’s beauty in so many, and continue forward in making our master plan for the garden a reality. A memorial or honorarium gift provides the opportunity to make a donation to Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden in memory of a loved one, in honor of someone special in your life or in celebration of a special occasion such as a graduation or birthday. When an In Memory Of or In Honor Of gift is received, we will promptly send a personalized note to the person or family indicated notifying them of your thoughtful donation, but not revealing the amount of the donation. Each gift is tax-deductible.

Through Stowe’s Tribute Bench Program, you can sponsor a bench in honor of a special person or in memory of a loved one. Benches are installed throughout the Gardens at Stowe and provide recognition for generations to come. Contact our Development Team at [email protected] to inquire about location availability.
