Summer Nights 5k + 1 Miler
Saturday, July 18 | 7 p.m. | The Gardens
Enjoy a diverse race course of wooded trails and manicured gardens in bloom as you zoom through Daniel Stowe Conservancy!
Come hang out just before dusk for the 2026 Summer Nights 5K and 1 Miler! The setting sun paired with the shade of our trails will make for the “coolest” race you can do around here in mid-July.
After the race is over, participants will have EXCLUSIVE access to the Gardens at Stowe. Only participants with bibs will be able to enter the Gardens after the race so be sure to tell your friends, cousin and grandma who want to cheer you on that they will need to purchase a race entry to tag along inside the Gardens.
Custom awards for the 5K will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers 14 and under thru 70 and better in five year age increments.

Bright Lights 5k + 1 Mile Fun Run – November
Light up the night at our Bright Lights 5k and Fun Run! Run or walk through illuminated pathways and dazzling displays of holiday lights as you are among the first to journey through the garden after dark and witness the 2025 Holidays at the Garden display. It’s a festive and family-friendly event that will leave you feeling energized and inspired for the holiday season!

Splash Dash Amphibious Race + Kids’ Sprint
Make waves this Spring with a brand new addition to our 2026 Race Series – Splash Dash!
5K participants run through the neon green of early spring blooms on our trail system with lakefront views and the most picturesque start and finish line in the The Village at Stowe.
NEW! 5K + .5 Mile Kayak Racers will take part in the first ever amphibious race at Stowe! Our amphibians will start out on the 5K course and at about the halfway point, they will veer off course to a beach on Lake Wylie where kayaks will be waiting. Racers will transition to kayak and paddle the loop around Boy Scout Island on Lake Wylie before landing back on the beach. Once on dry land they will finish the 5K course. Don’t worry! Competitors will use kayaks, paddles and PFD’s provided by Stowe. If you plan to participate, you must read the 5K + Paddle Amphibious Race Info page before registering.
Kids Sprint participants will run the Big Pond Loop! Kids will go all out for a quarter mile sprint around an 8-foot-wide crushed concrete loop. The best part? The loop is visible from The Trailhead Store so parents can give their kiddos a little freedom and cheer them on the entire time if they choose!
