Daniel Stowe Conservancy is a nonprofit organization. Your membership dues are applied toward maintaining the gardens, trails and other outdoor spaces on property, and allow us to fund our many events throughout the year for your continued enjoyment. We greatly value our many members and the opportunities they afford us to keep providing an unforgettable outdoor experience for all. There are 4 tiers of base membership at Stowe:
- Individual ($85 annually): Enjoy all core membership benefits for one named adult. Includes one digital membership card.
- Dual ($120 annually): Enjoy all core membership benefits for two named adults living in the same household. Includes two digital membership cards.
- Family ($150 annually): Enjoy all core membership benefits for two named adults and their children OR grandchildren under 18. Includes two digital membership cards for the named adults.

Family Plus ($215 annually): Enjoy all Family membership benefits, plus:

Free general daytime admission for up to two guests per day when accompanied by a named adult member.

Complimentary general daytime admission for one caregiver to accompany member children or grandchildren under 18 in place of the adults named on the membership.

When visiting a participating reciprocal garden, simply present your Daniel Stowe Conservancy membership card to receive admission benefits up to the tier of membership that you belong to. It is recommended to confirm with the garden you are planning to visit in advance whether they fully reciprocate or provide discounted admission for Stowe passholders.
Stowe’s Evergreen Society was formed to provide a force of ongoing annual support that builds momentum for today and future initiatives. Evergreen Society patrons receive a membership to the Daniel Stowe Conservancy as a benefit of their gift, in addition to many opportunities to more deeply engage with the garden through special tours, VIP events and behind-the-scenes access. Memberships may be purchased in person at the front desk of the Gardens at Stowe, or on our website.
Daniel Stowe Conservancy accepts most major card providers, cash and checks addressed to “Daniel Stowe Conservancy”. Memberships may be purchased in person at the Gardens at Stowe, or online at https://stowe.ticketapp.org/portal/pages/memberships. For larger donations/contributions and to join the Evergreen Society, please contact our Director of Development, Brittney Speaks, at bspeaks@danielstoweconservancy.org.
You will be asked to provide your digital membership card to the front desk attendant in order to be checked in for entry to the Gardens at Stowe. You may also provide your first and last name. Daniel Stowe Conservancy reserves the right to request ID verification at any time.
Your digital membership card will be automatically distributed to you via the email you provided upon signing up. It may take up to 48 hours to receive your digital cards. You may also access your digital cards in the Member Portal accessible through our website.
We strongly recommend that you download a digital membership card to automatically receive important updates to your membership information, to receive reciprocal membership benefits at gardens throughout North America, and to reference at our retail locations for your member discount. When checking in at the Gardens at Stowe, you may give a first and last name as an alternative, but you may be required to provide an form of ID as verification of your identity. Alternatively, we offer printed membership cards for a $5 per card fee. If you would like to request a physical card, please contact our Membership Manager, Aaron Holloway, at membership@danielstoweconservancy.org.
Changes to your membership information can be made through your Member Portal. Once signed in, navigate to the dropdown next to your name in the top right corner of the screen, and select “My Account”. From here you can select “Settings” and update your primary contact info. If you need to change the cardholders on your membership, please reach out to our Membership Manager, Aaron Holloway, at membership@danielstoweconservancy.org.
Your Member Portal can be accessed here. If you have not yet created a Member Portal account, you can do so by following the link above as well. Please note that you will need to create your account using the exact credentials you provided when signing up for your membership. If you are unsure of those credentials, please contact our Membership Manager, Aaron Holloway, at membership@danielstoweconservancy.org for assistance.
Your member discount can be applied by signing in to your Member Portal before purchasing tickets. Once signed in, your member discount will be automatically applied to your cart at checkout for applicable events and tickets.
You can renew your membership at the front desk of the Gardens at Stowe, or through your Member Portal. If renewing through the Member Portal, make sure you are signed in, then click the dropdown next to your name in the top right corner of the screen and select “Memberships”. On the membership screen you will be able to select “Renewal Options.” Follow the on screen prompts to complete your order
Your order history and ticket purchases can be accessed through your Member Portal. Once signed in, navigate to the dropdown next to your name in the top right corner of the screen, and select “Order History”. On this screen you will be able to view all past orders completed under your membership, view receipts, and download event tickets to your digital wallet.
Guest passes may be used when checking in at the Gardens at Stowe only when a named cardholder is present. When presenting your membership to the front desk attendant, they will confirm your guest passes if available on your membership and apply them appropriately. Please note that guest passes may be used once per day per membership, not per cardholder.
Does Daniel Stowe Conservancy offer membership discounts to military, seniors, teachers or students?
Daniel Stowe Conservancy does not offer discounts on memberships. Military and Senior (60+) discounts are available on daily general admission tickets.
Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you are relocating, you may still receive benefits at over 300 gardens through the American Horticulture Society reciprocal program by showing a current Daniel Stowe Conservancy membership card.
Daniel Stowe Conservancy offers physical gift memberships purchasable at the front desk of the Gardens at Stowe, as well as at our retail locations. You may also purchase a digital gift membership on our website. When selecting the desired tier of membership, you will have the option to “Gift a Membership”. The membership will be delivered to the recipients email address on the desired date after checkout.
When joining Daniel Stowe Conservancy as a member, you are automatically enrolled in the monthly Member Newsletter, which highlights member specific happenings and information. Please ensure you have whitelisted membership@danielstoweconservancy.org if you wish to receive this newsletter. For most upcoming event information, you can also check our event calendar on our website.
