Join us at Daniel Stowe Conservancy for Rooted in Knowledge: Lunch ’n Learn, a monthly series designed to nourish both your body and your mind. Over the lunch hour, enjoy engaging talks from Conservancy staff, guest experts and community partners as we explore topics that connect to our mission of preserving natural resources, celebrating the botanical world and inspiring environmental stewardship.
Topic: Soil Health + Cover Crops
Join us for an engaging talk with one of our Horticulturists on soil health and cover crops—the foundation of thriving gardens, healthy animals, and resilient ecosystems. Discover how cover crops can enrich your soil, prevent erosion, and set the stage for more productive plantings. This lecture will explore the core principles of soil health, the many benefits of using cover crops, and practical options you can implement in your own garden or landscape.
Guests may choose from two ticket options:
- Program-Only Ticket: includes admission to the presentation ($5 members, $7 non-members)
