Daniel Stowe Conservancy offers reciprocal and discounted admission for certain groups and partners. Browse below to see if you qualify:

Daniel Stowe Conservancy is a member of the American Horticultural Society (AHS), and offers the Reciprocal Admissions benefit for members of other AHS gardens as well as members of the AHS organization itself. This allows you to visit other botanical gardens and similar organizations across the United States for free or at a discounted rate, as well as letting members of other AHS organizations visit Stowe. 

To check if your home gardens’ membership will be reciprocated at Stowe, please visit the AHS website.

For reciprocal visitors to Stowe:

  • You must present a valid membership card (digital or printed, or other proof of membership) to an AHS member organization, and we will match the level of your membership and number of entries it provides at your home garden.
  • Reciprocal visitors do not receive a Stowe Member discount at retail spaces, off ticketed events, or any other Stowe member benefit.
  • Daniel Stowe Conservancy does not reciprocate memberships from other organizations such as the AZA or ATSC.

 For Daniel Stowe Conservancy Members:

  • Check the list and details for the garden you are interested in visiting before you travel.
  • Be sure to check that you have your membership card and it is up to date before visiting reciprocal gardens. 
  • Other gardens may charge parking fees or offer discounted rather than completely complimentary admission; know before you go!

Through Museums for All, those receiving food assistance can gain free or reduced admission to more than 1,500 museums throughout the United States simply by presenting their EBT card and a photo ID. As a benefit of your EBT card, you can visit during daytime hours as often as you’d like for only $1 per person. Present your benefits card at admissions for up to six family members. Discount not applicable for ticketed events, photoshoots, engagements or private events. Offer valid only for daytime Daily Admission.

Visitors utilizing the Museums for All program will be required to show valid credentials to receive discounted admission. 

Seniors over the age of 60 receive $2 off daily admission to the Gardens at Stowe. (Discount only applies to the senior.)

Active duty, Reserve and Veterans of the United States Armed Forces and their families receive $2 off daily admission per visitor. Thank you for your service!

Members of AAA receive $2 off daily admission per visitor when presenting a valid membership card.
