Experience a melodic night of jazz at Daniel Stowe Conservancy as part of our Jazz at the Garden Summer Series, in partnership with our friends at On Stage Concerts! Join us on Saturday, July 19 at 6 p.m. to savor the summer with an evening featuring two renowned national artists: Jeff Ryan andIlya Serov! Plus, we’re opening your evening with the talents of Greensboro’s own Freeport Jazz Band!
Doors open at 5 p.m. (come in and grab a drink early!) and live music begins at 6 p.m.
Plan for date night or a family outing, pack your lawn chairs and blankets for an outdoor summertime show, and enjoy world-class jazz surrounded by the beauty of nature. This event is rain or shine! In the event of inclement weather, the show moves indoors!

About the Artists
Jeff Ryan
One of the brightest new voices in contemporary jazz, Jeff Ryan has captured audiences across the country with his expressive saxophone style and explosive live shows. A five-time Billboard #1 artist and recipient of the 2020 Billboard Artist of the Year award, Jeff’s music bridges smooth jazz with classic influences from legends like Dave Koz, Richard Elliot, and Grover Washington. His track “Sentimental Soul” was named Billboard’s Song of the Year in 2021, and his magnetic stage presence makes every concert memorable.
Ilya Serov
Making his Carolina debut, trumpet player and vocalist Ilya Serov combines timeless jazz stylings with modern flair. A classically trained musician with a passion for jazz, Ilya Serov’s trumpet and vocals have charmed audiences worldwide. A graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, Ilya has built an impressive career performing with jazz greats including Dave Koz, Poncho Sanchez, and Roger Kellaway, as well as sharing the stage with Tower of Power and Gerald Albright.
