Spend a warm summer evening surrounded by nature, good vibes and smooth jazz at Jazz at the Garden: Summer Concert Series, a part of Savor the Summer!

Pack your lawn chairs or picnic blankets for an outdoor event!

This season, we’re turning up the flavor with a special cookout plate—pre-purchase your plate to enjoy a classic summertime combo of a hotdog, hamburger, baked beans and potato salad with a cup of lemonade! Our bars will be open throughout the evening, offering a variety of refreshing beverages, alcoholic and non, to pair with your meal.

Doors open at 5 p.m. to come early to grab your plate, sip something cool from the bar and find your spot on the lawn. Live music begins at 6 p.m., featuring acclaimed jazz keyboardist and composer Marcus Johnson!

As head of Three Keys Music, Johnson produced and released music for dozens of jazz legends. With a catalog of Billboard-charting albums, NAACP Image Award nominations, and a sound inspired by legends like Herbie Hancock and George Duke, Marcus Johnson is the heir to an urban jazz throne! This summer, he’s bring his signature groove to the garden for an unforgettable evening under the stars.

To date, Marcus has released more than twenty Billboard-charting records, and has the distinction of having his groundbreaking Billboard Top 20 Contemporary Jazz FLO (For the Love Of) Anthology, which consisted of three distinct albums all charting Top 10 on Billboard Contemporary Jazz Charts simultaneously.

Wear your summer best and embrace the tune of June breeze and jazz with us! This event is rain or shine; in the event of rain, the groove moves indoors.
