SUMMARY:Leaves of Literature Book Club
DESCRIPTION:The third Thursday of each month | 6:45-8 p.m. | Free  \nMarch-October – The Village  \nJanuary\, February\, November –  Location – The Garden Pavilion  \nDecember Location – The Holiday Speakeasy in the Garden Pavilion \n\n\n\nDive into stories and the beauty of conversation at Leaves of Literature\, Daniel Stowe Conservancy’s book club. Each month\, we explore a thoughtfully selected book—often inspired by nature\, conservation or the botanical world—and gather to share insights\, discuss themes and connect with fellow readers in a welcoming\, relaxed environment. \nWhether you’re an avid reader or simply looking for a way to engage with stories and the outdoors\, Leaves of Literature offers a cozy space to explore new ideas\, exchange perspectives and enjoy meaningful conversation among friends and nature lovers alike. \nThe group will focus on reading a book a month from various genres – both fiction and nonfiction! \n\nNo pre-registration or previous participation is required; simply read the book of the month by the book club date and bring your curiosity\, a blanket or lawn chair and the book! \nA note on December’s Book Club: \nWe’re adding a fun\, optional Blind Book Exchange to our December Book Club gathering!\n\nIf you’d like to participate\, bring a book you’d love to share with another reader. Wrap it up so the title and author remain a mystery! Get creative with your wrapping—we love a sustainable twist! Repurpose newspaper\, old maps\, fabric scraps\, leftover wrapping paper\, packing materials\, or whatever you have on hand.\n\nHere’s the twist: On the outside of your wrapped book\, include a short\, intriguing blurb describing the story without revealing the title or author. Give us just enough clues to spark curiosity!\n\nDuring our gathering\, participants will select a mystery book based on its description and head home with a surprise new read.\nParticipation is completely optional. You’re welcome to join us for Book Club whether or not you bring a book to exchange.\nIf you plan on attending\, please sign up for our Book Club Email List to stay informed on upcoming meetings:  \nJoin the List \nOctober 15 Book Discussion \nNorth Woods by Daniel Mason\n\n\n\nNovember 19 Book Discussion \nEven As We Breathe by Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle\n\nDecember 17 Book Discussion \nThe Seedkeeper by Diane Wilson\n\n\n
